a community of faith, hope, love and justice

Sunday morning gatherings at Watershed : 10am

We refer to our Sunday morning gatherings as “TRANSIT” because we feel that term best describes people moving together in a direction toward God. Transit is the centerpiece of our Sunday morning experience, and takes place at 10am on Sundays at 800 Everett Place in NoDa.  Transit is a blend of live music, interactive worship, and thought-provoking conversation that all works together to create an environment that provides an opportunity to encounter the Divine.  Our hope is that Transit is a relational odyssey of people and God...a place where EVERYONE can find a genesis, where it’s safe to be an inquirer, where you can come as you are in full authenticity, a communal moment plucked from each week set aside for a time for the 21st century urban existence to collide with the Divine.

We strive to create a gathering that evokes deep thought, reflection and reverence for God for those who believe and walk deeply with God but also for those who might find themselves in the undecided category.

Not a Jesus-follower, per se? You are not just welcomed here, you are a huge reason why we exist. Come and inquire, observe, participate, listen, chat, laugh and be. Make new friends and grab some free fairly-traded coffee in the Cafe, sing with us and enjoy some great music as Transit begins, and check out teaching that is both engaging and challenging. Children from birth-6th grade are invited to experience GreenHouse, our energetic and interactive kids’ program where kids can learn, play, and grow in an environment that is both fun and safe. Students in Middle School are invited to experience our Middle School Bloc (known as MSB) where they will enjoy community with each other, teaching of depth and lots of fun and interaction that will help them thrive and grow on their journey Godward.
