Watershed is a community, AWAKENING, STRUGGLING, and LOVING together as though a DIFFERENT WORLD is possible TODAY. Nevertheless is language chosen to articulate the incongruence between the realities of our day and the world we long for and envision Jesus to have longed for. A more just, compassionate and generous world in the here and now.
We believe Watershed is good and worth investing in.
EVERY WEEK, 200 to 300 people experience transformation through recovery environments like AA, SAA, and NA.
EVERY WEEK, local activists gather here to organize, to advocate for the rights of our neighbors, the poor, marginalized who are unjustly treated.
EVERY WEEK, because Watershed exists, there exists an ongoing RESISTANCE to the falsity that some folks are disposable. That some folks don’t matter as much as others.
EVERY WEEK, because Watershed exists, folks exiting abusive and manipulative forms of religion make the trek into safe and courageous gatherings or groups to reimagine life, community and faith.
EVERY WEEK, children and families are shaped by a more generous, just expression of faith and spirituality in the divine.
BECAUSE WATERSHED EXISTS, an entire people group in Manipur, India, ravaged by genocide, are finding relief and healing from PTSD due to intense tribal wars and genocide.
For the first time since the pandemic, Watershed has arrived at a place of relative financial stability. We’d like to stay there. And we’d like to start responsibly dreaming about the future.

Resource efforts to stand in solidarity with our marginalized neighbors.
Create safe and courageous environments for folks to heal from personal, spiritual and religious abuse or trauma.
Prepare a generation of students and children to grow in a relationship with God, themselves, each other, and the world.
Support local recovery and activist groups who desperately need space to meet, dream and heal.
Provide fair and sustainable wages for our staff.

Watershed set out to maintain financial stability going into 2025, and guess what? We have achieved it!
We had two recurring giving goals to meet by the end of the December 2024. We met the first and are now ready to pursue the second.
Achieving this stretch goal with empower our work through the rest of this year and beyond!

By the early 2025, increase recurring giving of $4k/mo
Identify and prioritize next-stage financial targets while maintaining sustainability

By the end of 2025, add an additional $4k/mo of recurring giving
Achieve this by increasing recurring giving by $500/mo each month
