Madeline Comer

ASSISTANT STUDENT DIRECTOR | she/her

Breakdown of your title:

Hang out with middle and high school students and talk about life.

What do you want people to know about you? (education, experience, family, favorite candy, sports teams, etc):

My dog Finley is my best friend, we love to go to the Whitewater Center in our free time. Monday-Friday I am a school based mental health therapist at Ardrey Kell High School. I am a licensed clinical social worker and have 8 years of experience working with teens and families through a trauma informed lens.

What’s your favorite/most inspiring part of your job?

I love to see students find their place and their voice in the chaos of the world. Students teach me so much about how to be a kinder human and a less cringy millennial.

Interesting Facts:

When I was 5, I was pretty sure I would be a wedding planner when I grew up. I love love, candles, and making people happy.I learned in high school I don’t like following other people’s instructions very much so I gave up on my business plan, but I still love celebrating with people!

If I were a pasta shape I would be a Rigatoni. I am fun and exciting, but always accessible and dependable. I am not just a simple spaghetti, but you can find me anywhere. I prefer to be served with veggies and a little bit of spice to keep you on your toes.
